Biography
Sharon has nearly 20 years of experience as a tailings engineer within the design and resident engineering capacities, and leads the Engineering & Design Team in the MEA region. She has excellent knowledge of tailings storage facilities and heap leach pads with hands on experience as a resident engineer to oversee the construction of a tailings storage facility. The majority of her work has been within the gold and niobium mining sector branching out to the uranium and graphite sectors. Sharon also has good experience of several closure costings for tailings storage facilities and mine sites. In addition to this she has been involved with modelling of tailings dams as well as hydrological modelling of water balances and flood lines.
